Types of Lipolytic
There are various methods adopted to perform lipolysis among which following are the most frequently used
- Injection Lipolysis
- Laser Lipolysis
- Radio Frequency Lipolysis
Injection Lipolysis
Number of fats cells is reduced chemically by injections. Fat cell disruption and demised is caused by injecting fat reducing substances and provide fat eradication from the area under treatment. Injection Lipolysis is completely non-surgical hence becomes convenient for a person undergoing it. Local anesthesia may be used on the treatment area.
The medicine used for lipolysis protects the liver and may also be used to prevent Fat metabolism. Emulsification and break down of cholesterol and fat are best done by Injection Lipolysis.
Procedure
- Local anesthesia is applied
- Skin in marked in grid pattern
- Medication is injected on the marked pattern.
- This completes the cycle of one treatment.
Results
Results may be evident by 6 to 8 weeks of treatment and you will encounter visible reduction on the treated area. The results are long lasting unless you plan to put on weight.
Side Effects
Not many side effects have been associated with Injection Lipolysis however some patients may feel redness, swelling and discomfort in form of muscle ache which subside in a few days.
Laser Lipolysis
Laser energy is delivered through an applicator for Laser lipolysis. Laser targets the fat in the treatment are and does not affect any other types of cells. Fat cells are diminished with laser technology without pain and fear of adverse reactions
Procedure
- Assessment of dimension and shape
- Marking of treatment area
- Applicator placement
- Delivering laser on target area
- Fat is dissolved with the help of laser on the treatment area.
Results
Results start to show at 6 weeks and are completely visible by 3 months.
Radio Frequency Lipolysis
Fat is heated without an instrument touching the patient in the Radio Frequency Lipolysis. Radio Frequency applicator heats the fat from a distance of one centimeter from the skin. The heat works only on the fat without affecting other types of cells in the skin or other body structures. It helps in reduction of fat in the fatty bulge. Radio Frequency Lipolysis is performed without anesthesia.
